Introduction

                   A healthy choice to decrease NCD (non-communicable disease) for Thai people Such as coronary thrombosis disease (MI=Myocardial infarction), cancer, Diabetes, and Hypertension, cause by uneducated for eating ,proportional and nutrition balance. which is ought to be improve by “Healthy Menu” : Thai food mean ,one dish  or  per serving have high nutrient in proper high quality and quantity, recommended by DOH., as certified by “ Health Menu” (if the restaurant is not passed when first audit by the auditor)

Objectives

                  To develop the “Healthy Menu” at first the business holder restaurant must have basic food safety by develop and auditing “Clean food good taste” restaurant, noodles shop school and hospital canteen which is criteria passed of DOH., for “Healthy Choice ”of customer of restaurant to reduce NCD risk factor by innovation of develop “Healthy Menu” such as Common menu,modified menu and develop menu. (if the restaurant is not passed when first audit by the auditor)

Methodology

                 On accreditation and permission for using Standard accreditation(an Official Guarantee by DOH.)which is criteria following such as the restaurant should be passed the certified”Clean Food Good Taste” criteria before,the complete with fourfood group at lease,

    The fat distribution < 30% from total Calories,Good quality in raw material(meat , fish ,vegetable) ,not salted and sweetened food, the restaurant standard accreditation and acceptability among concerned  groups.

Result.

              After approve by DOH. Officer, ,Application of DOH forms ,audited by the Committee Which consist of food Sanitary Officer and Nutritionist from DOH. Specialist (specialist from DOH.)Business holder restaurant is to be inform by DOH., if the final approve, at the present time,the restaurant approve by DOH for “Healthy Menu” amt. around 10,475 case,passed the Criteria of “Healthy Menu”and have already received the Certificate “Healthy Menu” in Thailand.
